Noodle is a 6 month old kitten looking for a very special home! She was trapped as part of a feral colony and handed over to rescue due to a possible fractured pelvis. After a long crate rest, we learned that she has a birth defect and no injuries. She is comfortable and moves around easily, but her knees are a little silly looking.
Noodle does love pets and scratches, but she can be skittish. Noodle has benefited from being in a home with a confident and cuddly kitten and she has also been with cat friendly dogs. Noodle needs a patient and gentle adopter who will let her come out of her shell in her own time. When comfortable, she has even cuddled up to her foster for scratches.
Noodle is completely litter box trained to pine, walnut, and clay litter. She would do best in a quiet home without young children. We think she needs the company of other confident kitties though! She is an adorable and feisty little girl who is still learning how to trust people. She has never bitten or swatted at her fosters, but they do not force touch unless absolutely necessary. Her disability bars her from being able to return outdoors as a colony cat, and we know that is not-so-secretly loving the plush indoor life, where she is going to have a much healthier, happier, and longer life!
Although she doesn't need any medical intervention for her birth defect, that doesn't mean she will never need it. It is likely that she can live out her life without any further needs for her knees, but any potential adopter should be aware of the possibility that this may change.
Kids: Noodle would do best in a home without children or perhaps with older, very calm children
Cats: Noodle needs another friendly and confident young kitty friend in her home
Dogs: with proper intros, Noodle would do well with calm, cat friendly dogs
