Sanji’s story started out a little wild—he was trapped as a “feral” cat as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) effort. But once he landed in foster care, it didn’t take long to realize this sleek, handsome boy wasn’t feral at all—just a little unsure of the world. With time, patience, and love, Sanji has blossomed into a confident, affectionate, and super playful young cat who’s ready for a forever home!

Sanji is a total goofball—he’s talkative when he’s excited, especially during playtime or meals (he’ll even spin in little circles as you get his food ready we will post a video as proof). He’s obsessed with toys, loves a good wrestling match with a cat buddy, and will entertain himself and everyone else with his playful antics.

He absolutely adores other cats and gains so much confidence from having a feline friend to romp and cuddle with. Once he feels safe and settled, Sanji is also incredibly affectionate with his people. He enjoys cozy cuddle sessions, sleeping at the foot of the bed, or curling up nearby in a cat bed—especially after a long day of playing hard. He is a king of head butts!

Sanji is the perfect mix of silly, social, sweet, and snuggly. He’s got so much love to give and just needs a home where he can keep growing into the amazing cat he’s becoming.

Dogs: dog friendly, would benefit from calm dogs or separation when transition since he is shy.
Cats: Yes, please! Sanji needs another playful cat companion.
Kids: Best in a calmer home with gentle, respectful children.
Litter habits: Fully litter trained; uses clumping clay litter in foster.

Sanji, being a black cat, is being overlooked again and again. He is perfect in every way… yet he is not getting much interest from adopters. Also. Fun fact… this kitty has THREE legs! But it’s easy to forget because he doesn’t let that slow him down for even a second. But it certainly adds a unique trait to his already unique self! Him being 3 legged doesn’t require any special care or experience. Seriously… you probably won’t even notice the missing limb
