Nyx

This sweet young girl is Nyx.

Nyx is finished nursing her babies in foster care, which means it’s finally her turn to find a forever home of her own. And let me tell you, this precious girl deserves it. We estimate she is about 1 year old, so still very much a baby herself.

Nyx is unbelievably sweet. Her perfect person is someone looking for a very snuggly, affectionate “velcro cat.” She will greet you with the cutest tiny squeaks, will follow you from room to room, happy to just quietly sit at your feet no matter what you’re doing. She doesn’t always need to be the center of attention, she just genuinely wants to be wherever her person is.

She is phenomenal with other cats. Her foster home has three adult cats with very different personalities, and Nyx immediately fit right in. Even a few hisses and growls from the resident pessimist didn’t faze her in the slightest. 😂 She is incredibly calm, easygoing, and unreactive.

She is amazing with dogs after an introduction. She may hiss at them initially while she figures out whether they’re safe, but once she realizes they’re going to respect her space, she is perfectly content peacefully coexisting with them. Her foster home has many dogs in and out and she has yet to show any major anxiety, aggression, or inability to be around dogs.

And somehow she gets even better! She actually LOVES to be held AND she loves belly rubs!! You can handle her paws, ears, mouth, belly, etc with ease. She rides well in the car and has no problem going into a carrier. She plays hard like the kitten she still very much is. She is genuinely just one of those ridiculously wonderful, unicorn cats.

After taking such good care of her babies, it’s almost time for someone to take care of her. Please consider adopting a slightly older girl… you won’t regret it. Nyx is one of those cats that will become someone’s soul cat. She is so amazing and whoever adopts her will be truly lucky.
