Owner surrender

Tux is a grandpa (~15 years young) who came into foster care as an owner surrender after spending most of his life outdoors. He took some time to recover from an injury to his crunchy little ears that required stitches which has since healed but will remain folded over.

Despite his past, Tux is an absolute gentleman who shows us just how much he enjoys the comforts of indoor life. He enjoys a good brushing, has mastered the litter box and has settled into his foster home beautifully. Even with whining dogs and rambunctious kittens going about their business, Tux remains perfectly calm and unbothered. He seems to have decided that all the household chaos is someone else's problem.

And thanks to some insider information, we also know the way to Tux's heart: stinky Friskies wet food! Naturally, we made sure to stock up just for him. A senior gentleman deserves to have his favorite meals on demand.

Despite having spent most of his life outdoors, Tux has taken to indoor living like a pro. He's calm, affectionate, tolerant, and seems very happy to trade outdoor life for a cozy bed, regular meals, and plenty of attention. 🖤🤍
