Blue is an 8-week-old puppy with a heart as big as his adorable puppy paws! He came to Pitties and Kitties Rescue after he and his 13 siblings were surrendered by their previous owner. Sadly, two of the puppies passed away before making it into rescue, leaving 13 little survivors who are now getting the chance they deserve. Blue is one of those lucky pups, and he’s ready to find a family of his very own.

Dogs: Dog friendly! Blue is currently being fostered with an adult female dog and his brother, Louie. He absolutely loves playing, wrestling, and napping with his brother, but they will not be adopted together. They’re fostered together so they can continue learning important social skills from one another, but now it’s time for each of them to find their own forever families. Blue would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, but it’s not required.

Cats: Cat friendly! Blue is being fostered with a cat and is learning that cats are just another part of everyday life. As with any puppy, he’ll benefit from continued supervision and positive introductions as he grows.

Kids: Kid friendly! Blue is being fostered with children and has been enjoying all the love, attention, and activity that comes with family life. As always, interactions between young children and puppies should be supervised while everyone learns how to respectfully play together.

Like any young puppy, Blue is still learning everything about the world. He’s currently working on potty training and crate training and will need a family that understands puppies require time, patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. There will be accidents. There will probably be a few chewed-up toys (and maybe a shoe if you’re not paying attention). That’s all part of raising a happy, well-adjusted puppy!

Blue is playful, curious, affectionate, and eager to explore everything around him. He’s at the perfect age to continue building confidence through positive socialization, puppy classes, new experiences, and lots of adventures with his future family.
