Hi!! I’m Barbie!! You may have heard of me (you know….momma to the Big Bang babies), but I bet you didn’t know I’m also looking for a home 😉. So just in case you are interested…here’s the gist about me: I LOVE people! Seriously!! People are my most favorite thing on this whole planet. I’m so happy to be around them, and I like to be a good girl and do what they ask. In fact, I learn so well, because I looooove hooman attention so much and looooove treats so much. And it’s not just adults that I like! I love peoples of all genders, sizes, ages….you a people? I’m your gal 😉. I’m a world-class pouncer – one of my volunteer friends likes to call me a kangaroo because I pounce so much! I love being outside and romping around, but when it’s time to come inside, I go running!! Being inside on the couch or bed with my favorite person is the best! I actually like to guess where you are going to sit and get there first so that I KNOW you are going to snuggle me 🤭.
Dogs: Gosh, I love dogs as much as I love hoomans!!! Wait….almost as much. I love playing, running, looking out the back door together, all things!! If I’m not doing what the other doggy wants, that’s okay! I take corrections pretty darn well too. I try to give corrections sometimes, but really, I just want the people and doggies to like me, so sometimes I just roll over and show my belly 🫣.
Cats: Kitties?? Those guys look pretty cool. They look like just another play buddy! Sometimes, I’m told I can be super playful, so it’s good if I’m with a kitty that can tell me “all done” to let me know when I play too much.
Kids: KIDS ARE THE BEST!! Aren’t they?? They are so playful and happy!! That’s meeeee!! And I just love it when a kiddo is laughing when I lick them and play with them. They just make me feel like I’m doing something right 🥰.
Crate training: I’m a very good girl in my crate. When my foster mom says “home”, I know it’s time to go in for meals, naps or overnight. Sometimes I’m too excited to go in, but I will go in for even the tiniest treat, promise 😉. I even like to lay down in there just to relax.
Potty training: I’m a rock star when it comes to potty training! I’ve never had an accident and know to go to the door when I need to be let out! I sleep through the night without having an accident, too! Yay, me!
My foster mom always tells me how smart I am….and I think she is right!! I love attention and treats so much, I’m willing to give any tricks a try! I already know sit, home/crate, stay, and am working on down! I just love making people happy and eating yummy treats 🙃. Did I mention how playful I am too?? I just wanted to remind you just in case you have another doggy, kiddo, or kitty that loves to play 👀! I just love playing so much!! But don’t worry! I am also happy throwing my toy around the living room and chasing after it like it’s playing with me! I’m super simple as long as I have some exercise during the day and snuggles at the end!!
