Hi! I’m Betty White, but respond mostly to Betty! I’m a 7 month old XL bully mix parvo survivor and I have some of the softest fur you’ll ever pet. Which works out for everyone because I absolutely adore affection. It’s my favorite thing to be around people and it’s even better when I’m getting pets. But don’t let my softness fool you! I also love running around and playing with all my foster brother’s toys! Playing tug with him is fantastic. I have also learned that swimming isn’t the worst thing during the summer, but playing in a stream or puddle of water is life.
Dogs: I’m currently hanging out with two older male pit bulls in my foster house and we get along great. I love taking naps with them and getting all my zoomies out while running rampant in the backyard with them. I respond really well to correction when I bug them too much. I have gone to several other places with new dogs and have done awesome while meeting exciting new dogs, especially when I am able to say hello first thing instead of letting the other dogs be a mystery to me across the room.
Cats: I’ve never met a cat but I’m sure we’d get along too! I’m not even remotely aggressive and I love friends.
Kids: I have met several children from the age of one through eight, and I love them. I was a super amazing girl and went on an entire hike with the older kids, easily letting the 8y/o lead me the whole time.
Crate trainings: I have learned to love my crate and will often cruise in there to get some alone time when I feel like I need it. Going to work? I have no problem hanging out in my crate until you get home! Running to the store? Just say the word and I will walk right in! If you give me a treat or a chew toy to distract me? Even better! (Although it’s not needed)
Potty training: I have come soooooo far on my potty training and can now keep from making messes for several hours and am getting the hang of asking to be let out. In my current home there is a dog door and I have learned this is a great gateway to the outside to potty. I still might need some work and some patience, but lets me honest, I am still a puppy!
Betty has one of the sweetest personalities and just loves to love. She is very easy going and is at a prime age to train up however you want a great dog to be. She is going to be a bigger girl once she is fully grown, but will make one of the best cuddle buddies you could ever ask for. Put in an application to meet this amazing girl today!
